Jun 4 – The chief of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) has called the Air France 447 plane crash a tragedy.
Giovanni Bisignani is in Kuala Lumpur for the IATA annual general meeting.
Air France flight 447 lost contact more than 350 miles off the coast of Brazil.
Officials are struggling to explain how a modern aircraft could have crashed in stormy weather that is routine on the transatlantic route.
